Merry Breckenridge Christmas!

Friday, December 24th, 2010

It is almost christmas in Breck, time to set aside all the material things and focus on what is really important- snow conditions and getting up on the mountain tomorrow!

All I have to give you is this picture, taken today, Christmas eve 2010, in the blue rive plaza.  Up until yesterday there was actually a nativity scene here.  Now all that is left is some mashed hay and the odor of several horses.

Merry whatever you celebrate this season to everyone!

Sweet, Sweet snow, and penty of it- Breckenridge Snow Report

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Wow, that pretty much sums up this early November snow fall.  Not sure of the current total, but it is well over 10 inches I am sure, add that to the 36 inch mid mountain base breck was reporting last week and the winter storm we are having right now (see poor picture to the right) and you have over a 40 inch base at Breck tomorrow, not bad for November!Yes, even the  breckenridge t-bar is open for those of you looking for big freshy this early ski season.  This weekend should be excellent, not a ton of terrain open, but what is open will be first rate.

If you want to come and experience it for yourself you can get a great last minute deal on your lodging, just click-
