Breckenridge Kingdom Days 2010- schedule of events

Breckenridge Kingdom days is our annual welcome to summer celebration of the rich history and unique culture of Breckenridge. Founded over 150 years ago as a gold rush mining town, Breckenridge was not your normal city. Perhaps that is why mapmakers and the rest of civilized society, did not recognize Breckenridge as a town. So darn it, we recognized ourselves, as the kingdom of Breckenridge. Breckenridge Kingdom days is a yearly party that serves as a reminder to our population that Breckenridge will always remain fairly similar to where it started. Coming to Breckenridge Kingdom days? Then by golly you need to know what to do while you are here.

Breckenridge rafting and Breckenridge summer activities

If you have already booked your summer lodging with us (if you have not, do it now!) the next thing you need to be looking for is an awesome activity, like Breckenridge rafting, to add a little more spice to your vacation.  Good times rafting and high side adventure tours are run out of the Colorado Adventure Center, 210 N. Main st, and will offer a perfect compliment to your vacation. 

Good times rafting offers several Breckenridge Rafting options down 4 rivers- Colorado, Blue, Clear Creek, and the Arkansas.  You can choose your length, difficulty, and location from several different combinations.  If you are not ready for your first Breckenridge Rafting adventure, then stop on in to the Colorado Adventure Center anyway for a Vail pass shuttle bike trip (12 miles of downhill through the most beautiful country on earth), a guided fly fishing trip, a horseback adventure, or for some knowledgeable information on what else there is to do in Breck.

2. Bike lanes on main street? Now we have to watch for bike riders on main street, god knows they don’t do it for themselves.

Breckenridge film festival-Breckenridge festival of film

This year the Breckenridge festival of film begins June 11th and lasts until June 14th. This year marks the 29th Annual Breckenridge Festival of Film, as well as the 150th anniversary of Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Film Festival has been a longstanding tradition in Town, and it never fails to disappoint the movie junkies that attend. A wide variety of films are screened during the Breckenridge Film Festival, in several locations. A schedule for the Breckenridge film festival is below.
