First party of the summer (after the town party of course)- Breckenridge Kingdom Days 2011 2012!

Party Like it is 1859 during Breckenridge Kingdom Days 2011 2012

Time to celebrate our heritage as a gold rush mining town, this is an event only Breckenridge can offer, because Breckenridge is one of the few true mining towns that are alive and thriving.  Founded as a mining town in the mid 1800′s, and reinvented as a ski area in the mid 1900′s, Breckenridge is a perfect combination of historic town and world class ski area, and every year we remember our roots and throw a party so that everyone else can enjoy being part of the legacy of Breckenridge.  Breckenridge Kingdom days history is calling you, we invite you to experience it.

Breckenridge Memorial day 2011 2012

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

After a long and beautiful winter of over 500 inches of snowfall, I think summer is finally here!   Breckenridge memorial day seemed to mark the begining of what hopes to be a full on Breckenridge summer of 60 degree temps and bluebird skies.  Summer in Breckenridge brings a vacation that many say is better than winter due to the weather and the host of outdoor activities that one can experience in the high country.
