Breckenridge is also located centrally to several ski areas including, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Loveland, Vail, Ski Cooper, and several others. The ski area itself is a world class ski destination for vacationers from all over the world. Breckenridge ski area hosts over 1.5 million ski visits per year due to the 2,300 skiable acres, 4 peaks, 29 lifts, 155 runs, 4 terrain parks, and summit elevation of almost 13,000 feet. Breckenridge offers ski terrain for every level of skier. There is an abundant amount of expert skiing on peak 10 and 7. Peak 9 is best suited for beginners, and peak 8 is perfect for intermediate and advanced skiers. Breckenridge also offers many options for snowboarding, including 3 half pipes and 4 terrain parks.
