Breckenridge Kingdom Days | Kingdom Days in Breckenridge Colorado
Please join us for our first major event of the summer, Kingdom Days in Breckenridge. This unique event is held in downtown Breckenridge June 20th through the 21st. Breckenridge Kingdom Days is a celebration of our rich 150 year history and our dubious distinction as the “kingdom of Breckenridge” (until 1936 at least). The term Kingdom was initially adopted by the town of Breckenridge as a response to being left off United States maps, until the error was corrected in 1936. During Kingdom Days in Breckenridge the town celebrates it’s colorful past of mining, gambling, saloons, brothels, gold rushes, and adventure.
Breckenridge Kingdom Days is an event that is another example Breckenridge can throw a party like nobody else. The activities during Breckenridge Kingdom Days include- gun fights, musem tours, food, fun, and outhouse races.
That’s right, during Breckenridge Kingdom days teams get together and dress up their outhouses for a wild race down main street. As you can imagine, it is a one of a kind event that can only happen in Breckenridge. If we can help you with planning your trip to experience Kingdom Days in Breckenridge, please contact us right away.
