Of our many festivals and events, 4th of July is by far the most enjoyable and incredible. Our Breckenridge 4th of July 2016 festivities include; free concerts at the Riverwalk Center, Mountain bike races, kids' activities on main street, art festival, the amazing 4th of July fireworks display, and our fourth of July parade down historic main street.Sidewalk sales, art shows, and killer deals at our local merchants put a cherry on top of the festivities.

Three tips to enjoy Breckenridge 4th of July like a local-

• During the parade, be at the north end of town. You get the most stuff thrown at you, the floats are livelier, and you get done watching first.
• After the parade, the river walk center lawn is the place to be. It is a great place for kids to play, to hear the free concerts, and eat some freshly grilled food.
• You can see the fireworks from anywhere in town, but they are the most striking if you stand in blue river plaza. For the best experience, reserve a table at a restaurant with a west facing deck, and have dinner and drinks while you watch the show!
