To successfully rent your property over time, it is important to have happy renters. Renters increasingly expect more from their vacation rental. If you are having trouble delivering, you risk bad reviews, and comments on social networks that can negatively effect your future revenues. At Breckenridge Resort Managers we recognize the significance of customer satisfaction, not only to retain loyal renters, but also to win new ones.

Preventing Complaints

We know that a big part of a cultivating a positive rental experience is being proactive and anticipating the needs of our renters. Based on our years of experience, we have policies and protocols in place so that renters feel cared for and attended to from the moment of their arrival throughout their stay. Thorough housekeeping and extensive property checks ensure that everything is in proper working order and clean before guests arrive.

At Breckenridge Resort Managers we clearly state all of our policies and what our properties include so that there are no surprises. We want our guests to feel comfortable with their rental agreement and know exactly what to expect from us during their vacation.

Presence

Despite our best efforts to avoid complaints and provide a positive experience for our vacationers, we know that occasionally things will go wrong that we cannot control, resulting in complaints. A heater can suddenly go out, or a hot tub can quit working.

We have an emergency hotline that can be accessed 24 hours a day, every day. The answering service will relay messages to the on-call manager and requests will be appropriately responded to according to need. If a true emergency exists, guests can expect a quick response time.

We have learned that most clients just need to be heard and to know that their complaints are being taken into consideration. We do our best to manage any issues that arise and be responsive to the needs of our clients.

Most clients recognize our efforts to go above and beyond so that any dissatisfaction is quelled quickly. Because we are local and active in our community, we are able to respond quickly. Because there is an easy phone number to call and an office to visit, guests feel heard, and there is no need to spread bad reviews or complaints on social media.

This is the advantage of working with a professional property management company. When you are far away and helpless to address needs and emergencies, we are close at hand. We are able to respond quickly and have the resources and contacts to make timely repairs. Not only do we keep clients satisfied with your property, we eliminate your stress load. Enjoy peace of mind and streams of satisfied renters when you work with Breckenridge Resort Managers.

2018 Snow Sculptures

Watch lifeless blocks of snow transform into magnificent creations at the International Snow Sculpture Competition in Breckenridge. At this unique festival, snow sculptors from all over the world gather to bring their best designs to life.

Technical Week

The festivities begin the week before the actual competition. January 16-21 the blocks of snow are constructed. They are given time to sit, compact, and solidify, making it easier for the sculptors to work with the snow. You can watch the process of the blocks being made or even volunteer to help. Contact information for volunteering can be found at GoBreck.com.

Sculpting

The sculptors begin their work on Monday, January 22nd. They have until Friday to complete their sculptures. Visitors are allowed to walk through and watch the artists dig out their masterpieces from the bare blocks of snow. All sculptures must be completed by Friday (many work into the wee hours of the night to complete) and there will be an awards ceremony Friday evening at 6:00. The sculptures are judged by a panel of judges. Bronze, silver, and gold medals are awarded. There is also a People’s Choice Award, for which any visitor can vote.

Viewing

Throughout the weekend the sculptures can be viewed day or night. After dark is a magical time to experience the snow sculptures. Impressive lighting displays bring added character to these magnificent works. Be aware that snow is impacted by the weather and warm temperatures can begin to play a role in deteriorating the snow. Catch the sculptures early if you want to see them fully intact. The sculptures will be removed Monday night, January 29th and the magic is over until next year.

Kids’ Events

Kids and grown-ups alike look forward to this event. There is typically a snow sculpture that is not part of the competition that kids are invited to play on. On Saturday, the 27th, kids 9 and up are invited to participate in the junior sculpting competition. They will get to work on a sculpture using the same type of snow blocks as the competitive sculptors, and learn the craft of sculpting from Breckenridge’s own sculptor, Mauricio Meneses. This event will take place at Main Street Station and is free and open to the public.

Location

The snow sculpture competition will take place in the area around the River Walk Center, off of West Adams Avenue. Free parking is available at the Airport Road lot with a free shuttle service. Free public transportation is also available throughout Breckenridge.
