Breckenridge Mardi Gras

Breckenridge Mardi Gras

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler en Les Rocheuses!
Let the Good Times Roll in the Rockies!

Far from the steamy and sultry streets of the French Quarter, and high above the crescent city, Breckenridge Colorado offers its own brand of French Quarter fun with Breckenridge Mardi Gras. Trade in your gators for gaiters, your hand grenade for peppermint schnapps, and your second line for first chair, and celebrate fat Tuesday at two miles above sea level! Breckenridge may be an uncommon place to celebrate Mardi Gras, but the town is the perfect place for the celebration, offering a great historic strip for the parade, and eclectic nightlife worthy of such a southern party.

The town of Breckenridge comes alive during Mardi Gras, adorned with purple, gold, and green colors across the snowy background. We kick off the Breckenridge Gras celebrations with our Mardi Gras Ball, and dancing the night away before culmination with crowning of the king and queen. The celebration continues with the main street parade, where a healthy line of floats, beads, and costumes provide a high country Mardi Gras experience you will not find anywhere else.
