This stunning, multi-level, 4-bedroom home in Breckenridge, CO is in the quiet, forested neighborhood of Discovery/Peak 7. A light and bright Alpine chalet, Haus Bergwald is close to Downtown Breckenridge, but just far enough away to enjoy the true solitude of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Winter guests will note it’s just a mile to the Peak 7 Independence Chair and the superb ski runs found on Breckenridge’s five alpine mountains. Summer guests will find it’s a short hop to the Breckenridge Peaks Trail for family hiking and mountain biking adventures.

With four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, three separate living/TV areas (two with cozy fireplaces), and a large kitchen open to a dining area that seats 10, Haus Bergwald is a great home for multi-generational family gatherings. It features floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, plus a wrap-around deck with gas grill and summer patio seating. After a day on the mountain, enjoy time in the six-person outdoor private hot tub! The top floor has a loft living area with smart tv. The main floor has a large living area with cozy gas fireplace which opens to the dining area and updated fully equipped kitchen.There are also 2 full bathrooms and 2 queen bedrooms on this level. The lower level of the home has an additional living area with tv, gas fireplace and a pull out sofa. There is also another full bathroom, the twin bedroom and the third queen bedroom on this level.

An excellent location for families, or groups who are looking to enjoy each other’s company in a majestic mountain setting!

There is a 1 car garage available for a smaller (non-oversize) vehicle. There are 2 parking spots on the lower level for easier parking in the winter. Winter visitors must have 4 wheel drive with snow tires or chains.

Outstanding place to stay in Breckenridge. It is a very peaceful location within driving distance to the lifts. Beautiful views from inside the home. Absolutely loved the relaxed environment, and amenities such as the hot tub to enjoy after a day on the mountain.

Great house and location

The house looks as good in person as the photos. Plenty of room, we’ll stocked kitchen, lots of places to relax. Beautiful views and an easy ride to the slopes and downy. I would definitely stay there again.

A lovely summer stay in the mountains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three friends and I stayed at the home for four days to get away and play games together. We greatly enjoyed the mountain air, forest, wildlife (including deer and hummingbirds), and the hot tub. Would easily come back to this property if available in future years!

Colorado Trip

We had an awesome stay and really enjoyed this spacious beautiful home! The house is perfect distance to go snowboarding/ski at breck and keystone. We also got to see a fox at the house. Overall the house met everything we needed/wanted and more!

We had a great stay at Toby and Lauretta's home! The house had exactly what we needed in terms of space and the hot tub was an added bonus after a long days of skiing. The views are incredible and the location is peacefully removed from town but easily accessible to peak 8 for skiing.
The kitchen could have been better stocked with basic necessities like dish soap and tin foil, but the hosts were responsive and brought some the next day.
Breck had just gotten fresh snow and the road was a bit difficult to drive in our rental without snow tires or four wheel drive so caution for anyone coming from out of town - make sure your call is well equipped so you are safe. The driveway is steep and we could not get up it, so we parked in the pad next to it.
Overall, we will be back to Toby and Lauretta's and loved our stay!

Very spacious

This was a very spacious property, with three living areas for our group of 10 to spread out. It fit our needs perfectly. The only thing I would make potential renters aware of, is the driveway is extremely steep. The parking pad for two vehicles at the bottom of the driveway was a lifesaver!
