Breckenridge Snow Sculptures 2026
Each January, downtown Breckenridge transforms into an outdoor snow gallery for the International Snow Sculpture Championships. In 2026, the event runs from January 24 to February 3 and features massive hand-carved snow creations from teams around the world.
What It Is
Artists from across the globe compete by carving 25-ton blocks of snow into detailed sculptures using only hand tools. The event combines creative artistry with winter endurance, and it's completely free for the public to enjoy.
Key Dates
• Sculpting Week: January 24–28, 2026 — Watch the sculpting process live.
• Viewing Week: January 28–February 3, 2026 — See the finished sculptures on display 24/7.
• Illumination: Sculptures are lit nightly from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
