This summer, Breckenridge’s cultural scene hits a high note with the return of the National Repertory Orchestra (NRO). From June 21 to August 9, 2025, the NRO will fill the mountains with music, offering a mix of major concerts, free pop-up performances, and community events.
The season begins at the Riverwalk Center with a concert titled *Discover Dreams*, featuring selections from Mendelssohn’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream* and Berlioz’s *Symphonie Fantastique*. Expect a magical evening of imagination and powerful orchestral storytelling.
Celebrate Independence Day in style with an evening concert led by the NRO. Held at the Riverwalk Center, this patriotic performance blends classical favorites with American-themed music. It’s a family-friendly tradition that draws a big crowd and lots of energy.

All concerts run from 1:30 to 2:30 PM and are perfect for a relaxing break in your day.
The National Repertory Orchestra is a training ground for top young musicians, ages 18 to 29, from across the country. Each summer, these talented performers come to Breckenridge to rehearse, perform, and connect with the community. With multiple concerts each week and a strong focus on outreach, the NRO has been a summer staple in Breck since 1993.
