Toby & Lauretta’s home exceeded our expectations. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. It felt like we were staying at a home away from home. Location was perfect and just a short drive away from the town. It was extremely clean and they communicated really well, pre and post trip. I would definitely stay here again! I would highly recommend staying here! We rented Toby & Lauretta's place for a girls' trip reunion and it was perfect! The outdoor deck off of the living room with an amazing view over the mountains was the perfect place for us all to gather for meals in the beautiful summer evenings. This house was easy to get to, just close enough to downtown Breckenridge, and had all the amenities and space that we needed. They were very proactive about sending us check in instructions which was much appreciated.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The views from our home were unbeatable. We most enjoyed how comfortably accommodating the home was with bathrooms for each bedroom. Would love the opportunity to stay again! No major complaints on cleanliness but found that some deeper level cleaning such as dusting was needed but certainly not a problem.

It was a beautiful location and a great place inside. It was spacious and had incredible views. The only minor problem was that a few things weren't repaired -- the knobs on the grill had been so hot that they had melted and wouldn't turn the gas on (we were able to use one of the knobs) and the ping pong table was broken. Other than that, it was great.

Great place for a large group!

We had a large group stay here and there were lots of spaces to hang out in. Very clean, easy check in and check out instructions. I had a few quick questions ahead and time and was responded to very promptly!

This was a beautiful home for our family holiday gathering. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to Breckenridge. Lots of space for our family to spread out comfortably with beautiful views of the mountain. The kitchen was very well-stocked. Only thing to note is the hot tub takes a long time to heat up to a higher temperature and the ping-pong table was broken. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay! Easy check-in process and great communication.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Toby & Lauretta’s Brocken House.
Pros:
*The home looks exactly as pictured.
*place was cozy and fit all 8 of us comfortably.
*Kitchen was fully stocked (pots, pans, utensils)
*Home was clean
*Plenty of towels and toiletries
*Area was quiet & peaceful
*check in was very simple and easy
*Amazing views

Cons:
*Bedroom door that leads to the patio does not lock.
*Could not figure out how to get living room lights to turn on. A gentleman came by to check lights and stove but left without fixing lights.
*Sheets are poor quality, very scratchy.
*shower head in the upstairs bedroom (double beds) is faulty
*There were cobwebs in the corners of the upstairs large master bedroom
*Duvet covers could benefit from being cleaned after each use.
In all, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway and the pros outweighed the cons. We would definitely book this place again!

The house and views were great! We had 4 couples and a single for an adult getaway and there was plenty of space and privacy. It’s definitely a must for a 4wd vechile in the winter season just for the driveway but the neighborhood is easy to access and it’s close enough to town for easy access but far enough to give you that space and serenity.

House was clean, and as advertised. Ping pong table was broken during our stay, but other than that there was no other problems. Hot Tub is massive and stays very hot. Great location for anyone looking to ski at Breckinridge (only took us about 10 min drive to parking lots). Great place for larger groups.

wonderful stay for a large, diverse group

Excellent property, location, managers!! Very well-maintained, stocked up for large group of 12+ ppl and caters to needs of all ages from toddlers to senior citizens. Very accessible to downtown Breckenridge. Only improvement needed on the property is fixing the temperature control as it gets significantly hot in the basement which is problematic due to the thin air at higher altitude. The property managers are very responsive and ultra helpful in advising on local queries about food, things-to-do, bargain deals, weather, etc.

If you are looking to have a wonderful vacation with your family in Breckenridge and Toby's place is available, don't hesitate! Our family of 10 stayed for a beautiful White Christmas and had a great holiday. The house is even better than the photos and any questions we had were quickly answered by the resort managers. The location of the house is beautiful, in a residential setting in the mountain a short drive from Breckenridge village, about 10 minutes. Just picture perfect, a magical White Christmas!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was so spacious, the hot tub was great, the snow removal was perfect (you 100% need 4WD in the winter), we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful home and views!

We loved the house! Although without the windows open it is a little hot, the rooms are very spacious and well prepared. Everything you need the house is equipped with, and we loved that! No need to say on how spacious and fulfilled with necessities is the kitchen, which made it perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was perfect! It felt like we were at home the whole time.

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We all really enjoyed the cozy decor, such as the faux fur pillows, fluffy comforters, and wooden log accents. The hot tub room was also nice as it was easy to control the climate and not freeze your buns off when you get out. We arrived at night and it was a super sweet surprise to wake up to the stunning views of the mountains the next morning. The heated garage was also great for loading and unloading the car between trips up to the slopes. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay!

The home was perfect for us (3 families) kitchen was well equipped, heated floors in kitchen and restrooms were awesome, short drive to breck, views from living room were cool!
