We had an absolutely amazing stay at this mountain home in Breckenridge! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views were breathtaking, especially in the mornings with the mountains right outside the windows.
The location was perfect, offering a peaceful mountain retreat while still being just a short drive from downtown Breckenridge, great restaurants, and outdoor activities. The home was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful stay! The mountain views were absolutely beautiful and made for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Very nice place, super spacious & perfect for large group! Gorgeous views, clean & clear instructions. Only thing I’d say is it was quite hot when we arrived so we had to open the doors to cool since the thermostat only heats not cools. The hot tub also didn’t get super hot. Absolutely beautiful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The mountain views are unmatched. As several reviews note, the driveway is quite steep and does get icy, so that’s something to be aware of. It’s also worth noting that all 8 of our guests felt some degree of impact from the altitude. The home is very high up— part of what makes it so beautiful! The house was stocked with the essentials and the host was quick to reply when we needed something. House was beautiful with great views. Spacious interior that felt like a home. About a ten minute drive up the hill from downtown Breckenridge so it felt both peaceful and still part of the action. We had a great getaway and truly enjoyed our stay! The home was perfect for our all-adult family of six, with beautiful views and fantastic hiking just steps away. We loved grilling out, sipping drinks on the deck, and spending evenings playing games in the cozy living room. The beds are firm, which worked well for us. The driveway is a bit tricky, but backing into the garage made it easy. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. First Time Trip to Breckenridge with Adult Children

Looking out at the mountains as the weather changed and the sun rose and set was more than we ever expected. The home was extremely comfortable and was the perfect amount of space for our party of eight. Everyone was able to sit comfortably in the great room around the fireplace, to have a seat at the table for meals and the four bedrooms and baths provided both comfort and privacy for everyone. The hot tub and fire pit out back were used daily after skiing and offered rest and rejuvenation after a long day on the mountain. Much time was spent in the well equipped kitchen gathering for meals and snacks throughout the trip. We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was spacious for our family of 10. Kitchen is definitely the heart of the home here and we had fun cooking while the family played games at the dining rm table. I loved that we were all together. The view of the mountains from the porch was so pretty! We spent a lot of time visiting in the rocking chairs and enjoying our view. We were super close to some good hiking spots and downtown Breck. We loved getting out but also loved going home to the cabin. The firepit and hot tub were a nice touch too. Toby & Lauretta were very helpful and easy to contact. Excellent, 5/5! We enjoyed our week-long stay to ski at Breckenridge. The place is very spacious, especially the kitchen and main living space are huge and very tastefully decorated and functionally furnished. The view is simply extraordinary: looking out the front windows is like looking at a James Niehues resort map. The backyard hot tub is nicely nestled among trees with a heated pathway to reach it. The TV is big and has Roku in "guest" mode which lets you do whatever you need. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are top-notch. The only caution I'd say is that the road and driveway are quite steep, making the 10-minute drive to/from town pretty perilous in icy/wintery conditions. We loved this place for Thanksgiving and it was perfect for our family! We have stayed in many places around summit county, but the view from this place was breathtaking. We even had a cute little fox come up to the front door a few times while we were up there.
4WD is a must because it is icy up Boreas Pass and the driveway is pretty tricky.
All in all, it was perfect and just a 10-15 drive into town.

We came here for a miniature family gathering. We were looking for a renal that would offer a “mountain experience” for our kids - this place did not disappoint. It’s even bigger than it appears in the listing, and everything is oversized but deeply comfortable.

The townhouse was amazing for my bachelorette aparty of 8. The house and view were beautiful. We had trouble adjusting to the altitude at almost 11,000 feet. Although it is accessible by bus, it is very difficult to get transportation (shuttles and Lyft/Uber) from the townhouse.

Beautiful house that comes fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay. Kitchen is very well stocked with plates, cutlery, and all sorts of pots and pans for all your cooking needs. Hot tub, bbq, and fire pit are great. Having indoor parking in the secure garage is a great feature, too, and there is lots of room for storage of skis in the garage. Location is about a 10 min drive from Main Street, Breck, but if you’re looking for spacious accommodations with a gorgeous view of the mountains and don’t need ski in, ski out access, this is an excellent choice! If you're looking for an AMAZING home with everything you could want from a mountain ski house then look no further...
From a convenient two car garage to spacious bedrooms, a HUGE great-room including the kitchen, dining, and living area... to massive comfortable beds, incredible views, and a hot tub seemingly in the middle of the woods behind the house.
The hot tub is a MASSIVE 8 person setup which is just fabulous.
The home is wonderful and everything you'd want. The only downside (but it could be an upside) is the location. Let me explain...
On the plus side, it's not in town and provides that "in the woods" getaway feel. It's quiet, and there is a shuttle that will take you into town. On the downside, it's a solid 12-15 min drive in the snow to go up the hill to get to the house by car. And the shuttle takes a solid 20 min to get you into town due to the extra stops and it drops you at the gondola which means long lines and huge crowds.
Pro Tip: drive or take an Uber and get dropped off at Peak 9 Beaver Run. You can literally walk up to the lift without taking a separate gondola.
There are less crowds, multiple chair lifts, HUGE wide runs, lots of space, super easy access to bar/restaurant/bathroom, a small terrain park if you're not yet Shaun White, and access to Peak 10 which is all black diamonds so it has no lines.
They are easy blacks though in case you're worried.
And last, but not least the house has an incredibly large gas with fake wood fireplace in the living room with a gigantic deer and buffalo head above the fireplace. Nothing says I'm in the mountains of Colorado like this rustic and woodsy touch. Very cool.

The views from the living room area are absolutely breathtaking! The house has a great 2 car garage, heated floors, and top notch amenities. The fire pit and hot tub area was a nice touch. We had a wonderful time at Emmett's Overlook. The house was beautiful and spacious, with plenty for us to do even if we were confined to the Airbnb due to COVID-19 concerns in town. Also, the hot tub was greatly appreciated after two long days of skiing!
My only criticism of the entire experience is that I thought the listing could've been a bit clearer about the fact that this condo is part of a duplex. Perhaps I missed something, but it didn't matter much as we never heard our next door neighbors and I don't believe they heard us. Nonetheless, this is a great place to stay!

Huge kitchen and incredible views! The perfect place for hosting a large group. Getting to the mountain was fairly easy (by car or shuttle) and we saw wildlife daily (even a moose stopped by). Our family of 8 spent a wonderful Thanksgiving together at this spacious home. Great open space family room and adjoining kitchen to gather round. Roaring fireplaces in great room and master bedroom. Fire pit and hot tub are wonderful additions to the storybook mountain lodge setting. The owners are responsive and helpful. 5 star lodging.

Beautiful home! Well appointed. Jetted bathtub in 3rd floor master bath with large walk-in closet! Great & clean hot tub, easy to operate gas fire pit in backyard. Enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains each morning. Kitchen is fully stocked with all you could need for cooking which was very convenient. Check in was super simple, etc. Really, I could not say enough great things about this Airbnb! Where to begin? We picked this place because of location and size...and because the pictures were great - but we had NO idea how great! Toby and Lauretta's place is so AMAZING! The views of Breckenridge were breathtaking from the front deck - the pictures don't do it justice, you are looking right onto the entire mountain range, and the backyard is so deep - great for kids to run around and play, with no houses behind. And the firepits and hot tub are private and in an area large enough for our family of 6 (large, boisterous :) teenagers) to all enjoy. The location is great, close to downtown, and even better - a short drive up to the Boreas Pass, which - while not for the faint of heart or smaller car - is an absolute hidden treasure in the mountains. If you are thinking about a house in Breckenridge for your family, I would not hesitate to recommend this home.
Other benefits: well appointed kitchen, with any tool you might need to cook for your family, good sized bedrooms that fit our four (large) teenagers well, awesome fireplace in the living room that came in handy on a rainy day, great selection of games available for said rainy day.... and last, but not least - a pair of curious, friendly foxes that visited daily. DON'T FEED them, they have obviously been spoiled by some humans and are unafraid. But, they were a fun addition to our time lounging on the deck and in the hot tub.

Wonder home, beautiful views. Quiet location but minutes from town. Had everything we needed and more. Great room for the kids downstairs. All rooms were so nice and comfortable. Will be back for sure.Dominic - Posted: 7/20/2019
