Liftside Retreat is truly an exceptional 3 bedroom 3 bath Mountaineer town home and has everything you'd want for a perfect mountain vacation. Liftside Retreat is only a 1/2 block walk to the Snowflake Chair Lift, giving you the convenience of ski in and out access and yet very close to down town and the free shuttle bus stop as well.
Enjoy stunning mountain views from the living room, balcony and master bedroom. This lovely town home is spacious and open and has plenty of room for your family to relax with two living areas.The main level living area opens to the kitchen and dining area and is tastefully decorated for that true ski lodge feel. Warm up after the day's adventures by the cozy gas fireplace while you watch your favorite shows on the large flat screen TV. Step out onto the balcony for views, clean mountain air or to grill some steaks for dinner.
The kitchen is nicely updated with stainless steel appliances and a gorgeous glass backsplash. The dining table seats six, but but has a built in leaf that slides out on each side for more room. This condo has a Keurig coffee maker to help get your mornings started. There are also 4 bar stools at the bar.
The second living area has a nice size sectional sofa and a huge flat screen TV. There is a 3/4 bathroom right next to the second living area.
The master bedroom has a king bed with mighty log frame, flat screen TV, en suite bathroom with double sinks, large jetted tub and separate shower. The mountains can be first thing you see when you wake up in the morning. Listen to the soothing sounds of the creek out front in the summertime.
The second bedroom has a comfy queen bed, flat screen TV and you can access the private hot tub for much needed relaxing at the end of the day.
The third bedroom is another queen bedroom. There's a bathroom for these two rooms to share on this level. For additional sleeping space, there are 2 twin over twin bunk beds available in the 2nd living area.
Also, for your convenience, Charter Sports right by the Snowflake chair lift will rent you your ski/board equipment and also allow you to store the gear there daily if you desire.
There is a 1 car attached heated garage with a washer and dryer for your convenience. An additional car can park in the driveway. This town home is 3 levels and has stairs.

Toby & Lauretta’s townhome was awesome. Super easy to walk a block over and catch the Snowflake lift. Getting back was also super convenient via Four O’clock Run: leaves you about a block from the home. The group had a great time. we all had plenty of space and the dining room fit all 8 of us!! the living room area was missing some seats but there was some nice poofs to sit on.
only thing was the beds weren't comfortable. you could tell they were old and were sunken where the bodies go. the pillows were very thin so we had to bend them.
it was very close to town. we could easily walk or drive into town. there was plenty of windows for natural light and we all felt like we had our own space to relax. the kitchen had everything we needed, which is definitely a plus.Claudia - Posted: 9/3/2024

Stayed here with another family of 4. Had 4 kids and 4 adults. GREAT space, and the TV-room with bunk beds was perfect!
Loved that it is both walkable to town, but also very near the bus route if you are feeling lazy on the way back from a long day on the main street. Also only minutes from a nice 30-min morning hike.

We enjoyed our stay Toby and Lauretta's house. It's not quite a ski-in, ski-out though, as you have to walk -as the lsiting says - about 1/2 block to get to the lift or back home from the ski run. The only minor issue is that we had trouble loacting the exact unit, since I only found the unit number in the check-in instructions. Probably my fsult fot not paying enough attention. Perfect!
Liftside Retreat was the perfect house for our annual snowboarding trip! The house had more than enough room for three ladies and five teenaged kids. Located a half-block from the Snowflake Chairlift was ideal and so close to Main Street meant no unnecessary travel. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms so cozy! This cabin was the perfect homebase for our ski trip in Breckenridge. Right up the road from the snowflake lift - it was less than a 5 minute walk from our front door to the lift in ski boots.
The space was even larger than we thought it would be from the pictures, so there was plenty of room for the 6 of us (2 couples and 2 singles). I think we could've comfortably brought 1 or 2 more friends without feeling crowded.
The hot tub was an excellent touch - I think we used it every single day. We squeezed in 4 people at once which is probably the max capacity, so just note that the size is limited based on the small porch it's on.Ellis - Posted: 2/4/2024

Amazing, cozy home away from home!
Loved everything about our stay! From the moment we arrived, directions were clear, easy access to condo. Décor was lovely, the condo was so well equipped, the owners thought of literally everything you could possibly ever need. We cooked our entire Thanksgiving spread and didn't need to buy any extra cook ware or utensil. Location is amazing, short walk to lift or bus (which is free) that takes you to town. We even walked back to the condo one evening from town, that's how close it is. We have stayed at many rental homes but this one was by far the best appointed ever! Daughters wedding

This place was amazing and everything we hoped for. Well equipped and perfect for our family of 6. The place actually undersells itself. From the description we thought (wrongly) it was a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo. It is actually 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms as you need to include the den with two sets of bunks. Awesome!

Great condo with a short walk to the nearest lift

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this condo was great & I would recommend. Great communication and very responsive. This condo has 2 parking spots, but be aware that the garage space may not work for larger SUVs. I have a mid-size SUV (discovery sport) that fit and we were able to park our larger truck outside the unit so it was perfect for us. When we entered the unit, it was very clean and spacious with some really neat decor. There was also a binder with great info about the unit/town. Laundry was available in the garage. Each level had a very nice bathroom so we were able to spread out and everyone had their own space. There are 3 levels, with the master on the top, so it was a hike for us older members of the group but it was nice! The hot tub was wonderful; not very big which was perfectly fine. We just took turns using it. We did have to go through a bedroom to get to it, so it had to be coordinated with those in that room so we didn’t disturb them, but we handled it without any issues at all. The kitchen was well stocked & clearly labeled, and we had no issues finding what we needed. There is great storage in the garage for skis/boards, or if you rent from Charter Sports (Blue Sky Breck), you can store your skis/boards there for the night and pick up when you get to the Snowflake Lift the next morning. We wanted a true ski in/ski out—this was pretty close (& I knew before going based on reviews what it was). It was a short walk along the road down to the lift, which is also a shuttle stop if you want to get to other peaks without skiing or go into town without a car. Very nice perk! We had several beginners and liked riding the shuttle to Peak 9. You can ski or shuttle back to the bottom and then walk a short distance uphill to the condo, or find the right spot on the 4 o’clock trail to pop off skis and walk downhill along the road to the condo. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Liftside Retreat the week before Christmas. From the moment we arrived, this unit exceeded our expectations! It was tastefully decorated for the holiday and the condo was more than spacious with all of the comforts of home. An extremely well-stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, and labels with instructions on everything. The location was phenomenal, only about 100yd downhill walk to the Snowflake Lift. And after a long day of skiing, there is a nice cut-through from the Four O'Clock run which allows for a nice 100 yd downhill walk back to the condo. The bus stop is at the Snowflake lift and gets you anywhere in Breck you need to go. At the end of our vacation, our return flight home was cancelled due to a severe winter storm and the management company worked it out for us to stay an additional night, keeping us from being displaced in horrible weather. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo and would most definitely return without a moment's hesitation. This place is perfect! It is a 5 minute walk to the snowflake lift, and that's walking with four kids ages 6, 7, 9 and 10; it's also very close to downtown. The kitchen is well stocked, the two living rooms are incredibly comfortable and have lots of couches, chairs and ottomans - plenty of seating for everyone, and there are ample amount of extra pillows and blankets for the bedrooms. Most importantly the walls between this rental and the townhouses on either side are thick - we never once heard our neighbors. Very Nice Condo and Tons of Space
This is a wonderful condo. We really enjoyed our stay and everyone was pleased. My only “negative” is that the location on VRBO isn’t specifically where it is located. Very clean unit. Kitchen well stocked. Pullout couch is on main level and not in den downstairs if you plan to use it. Management is very responsive to any requests. Summer getaway
We come Almost every summer and stay in 4o’clock road. This place is a beautiful short walk to Main Street. It’s a view and sound with a river in front. The place has a handful of other condos, so it’s a wonderful cluster of neighboring neighbors that are quiet. The view of the wildflowers in the back were another favorite section as we were in the hot tub daily. We got to meet the ow we and she was incredibly friendly, appreciative of our stay, and help with the maintenance of the hot tub. The house was stocked well with towels and extra towels along the week. The kitchen was nice to prep meal in with all the things needed. Even down to a few ziplocks if needed before the grocery store trip. We have 3 kids with youngest 20months, and did very well with the stairs and the levels. Carpet was nice to have! We brought a pop up travel gate just in case and never needed it. The game room/media room was a hit for the kids to escape to. We learned checker and chess while staying here for the week. Fun memories! There was great storage for clothes, suitcases, pantry, all your summer and winter gear. Silly, but we enjoyed the ground floor entry where it housed our shoes, jackets, and hats instead of all over the place. It would be great for ski season! This was a beautiful place to stay! So close to nature being only a short block from hikes, a short stroll to town with a little climb back up. This home had everything you could need for your stay. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking, appreciated the crock pots, perfect to come home to a hot meal after a day of skiing. The hot tub was a plus as well. The entire home is very comfortable with plenty of extra towels & bedding. Location could not have been better with Charter sports for ski rental and the lift at a 5 minute walk, so convenient. Beautiful, well maintained, short walk to slopes
We really enjoyed almost everything about this property. It’s beautifully decorated, well maintained, seems pretty new, and it’s well equipped. It was also well managed and we had great communication from the property Mgmt team. The hot tub is small but nice and very appreciated. Only one complaint and it was something fairly important to us. I wouldn’t really say this is ski in/ski out. It’s about a 4-5 min walk to the Snowflake lift at base of Peak 8 and the same short walk at the end of the day (although there is a downhill walk option that was a little easier once we figured it out). That’s still very convenient, but for beginner skiers who tire really easily, that walk was tough on the feet in ski boots and carrying skis and poles. We did have perfect weather while there and the views from the condo are really pretty. Thank you for a great visit.
